What is Placenta Encapsulation?
Placenta Encapsulation is when your placenta is dehydrated and ground into a fine powder. It is then put into easy to swallow capsules. It is a palatable way to consume your placenta to reintroduce the hormones, chemicals, iron, and proteins lost during the birth process.
What does the research say?
There is limited clinical research on placenta encapsulation. There is a current study underway to determine the potential benefits of encapsulation, however, the current studies are too small to be statistically significant. The current studies were also inconclusive. It is unknown if it is the placebo effect or clinically beneficial. Regardless, anecdotally, participants in placenta encapsulation profess the efficacy of ingesting their placenta and the positive experiences they have had.
Wondering if placenta encapsulation is for you? Let's look at the possible benefits.

What's Included?
When your placenta is processed I make you a cord keepsake and provide a jar with the pills. The quantity of pills depends on the size if your placenta. I process using the raw method so there are generally more pills yielded then with the Traditional Chinese Medicine method. They are also more potent. I pickup the placenta after your birth and deliver upon completion. It takes approximately 2 days.
